Before, if a student had a question or any doubts about the material, they basically had two options: go to the person next to them or go to the teacher. But then, that was it. If I'm doing something on pen and paper, I feel like each kid is on an island of his own... Helping each kid was like hopping between islands. But with Monica, it is like everyone is in the same place together, learning from each other. That feels warm; learning feels like a community.
With MONICA, they are not alone anymore because students get to see what other students are doing. It makes me feel like we are all part of something together. They are all helping each other and learning from each other.
Conclusion: I saw an intense focus on the students while using MONICA. They were on the platform all the time. We live in a world of technology and education should reflect that.
